The Pennsylvania Department of Aging collaborated with the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts to create a showcase highlighting artwork created by older Pennsylvanians.
The first-ever Older Artists of PA Showcase at the State Capitol featured 30 pieces by artists 60 and older selected from over 500 entrants, including two AOB members, Ruthy Specter and Deborah Eater.
Deborah Eater had pieces accepted into two juried exhibitions this spring. Bronze Age was selected for Elemental: Paper and Clay at New Hope Arts, and Song of Ascents was selected for Ellarslie Open 42 at the Trenton Museum.
